Northeast China's Jilin province has introduced a series of fiscal, land and human resources preferential policies to boost the development of the Huichun city in its Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture. Huichun is the only city in China bordering with both the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Russia.

The city has set the development goals of a local GDP of 23.42 billion yuan by 2020 over an annual growth of over 8 percent and a foreign trade value of 2.45 billion dollars over an annual growth of over 15 percent.

Huichun also pledged to strengthen exchanges of transportation, logistics, capital and information with its neighbors in Northeast Asia.
