Haikou holds East Asia Summit Clean Energy Forum

The 2nd East Asia Summit Clean Energy Forum held in south China's Hainan Province's capital city Haikou called for establishing green energy network to promote the interconnection of energy infrastructure facilities as well as the development of clean energy in the region.

China is actively developing clean energy and willing to share experiences and achievements with in nuclear energy, hydropower, wind power, solar PV, as well as smart grid with other counties in the region, said Zhang Yuqing, deputy director of the National Energy Administration during the forum. The forum would be a great platform for communication, cooperation as well as presentation on green energy network among participating countries in the region, Zhang said.
