The foreign trade volume between north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and countries along the route of Belt and Road Initiative approached 49.88 billion yuan in 2015, down 14.8 percent year on year, according to statistics from the Manzhouli Customs District.
Inner Mongolia's exports to countries along the route of Belt and Road Initiative dropped 15.7 percent year on year to 19.31 billion yuan in 2015, while its imports from those countries declined 14.3 percent on year to 30.57 billion yuan during the period.
In 2015, Inner Mongolia conducted foreign trade with 62 countries and regions along the route of Belt and Road Initiative.
