Taiwan's unemployment rate was 3.92 percent last month, up 0.08 percent from May and 0.21 percent higher than the same month in 2015, according to Taiwan's statistics agency on Friday.
There were around 459,000 unemployed people in Taiwan by the end of June, compared with 11.251 million employed, data posted on the agency's website showed.
The seasonally-adjusted rate of unemployment for the recording month was 3.96 percent, flat from May, according to the agency.
The agency's data also showed the island's consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, increased 0.34 percent in June from the month before. The reading was up 0.90 percent compared with the same month in 2015.
