Jiangxi Province saw the biggest growth in export in the first eight months of 2016 among all the central provinces.
According to statistics from Nanchang customs, export value of Jiangxi Province increased one percent year on year to 143.5 billion yuan, including 20.61 billion yuan of export value in August, hiking 39.2 percent on year.
Specifically, general exports of Jiangxi rose 3.6 percent on year to 125.38 billion yuan in January-August, and processing exports dropped 1.9 percent on year to 17.62 billion yuan.
What's worth noting is that exports of Jiangxi to U.S. and the countries along the Belt and Road hit 21.39 billion yuan and 54.14 billion yuan in the first eight months, rising 13.9 percent and 4.5 percent year on year respectively.
