A hospital in southwest China's Guizhou Province discharged the province's last confirmed case of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday.
The 65-year-old patient was confirmed on Feb. 3 to have been infected.
According to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, an integrated treatment of TCM and Western medicine was adopted in the early stage, and restorative plasma was transfused later.
Guizhou reported a total of 146 COVID-19 cases. Except for two deaths, all the rest have been discharged.
Over a dozen of province-level regions including Tibet, Xinjiang, Shanxi, Fujian, Chongqing and Tianjin are clear of the novel coronavirus infections after their last COVID-19 patients had been discharged.
