South China's Guangdong Province plans to set up 100 bases of nature education by 2023, according to the provincial forestry bureau.
A total of 40 provincial-level bases of nature education are expected to be established this year, the bureau said in a statement.
The province will integrate natural resources including nature reserves, nature and urban parks and science-popularization museums in the next three years for nature education activities for primary and secondary school students. At least one nature education base is expected to be built in every prefecture-level cities of the province.
Since 2018, more than 13,000 nature education activities have been held in Guangdong.
