Four neighboring provinces including Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, and Hainan Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding to promote unified customs clearance in a bid to improve efficiency and streamline procedures.
Under the MOU, more simplified customs clearance procedures through a unified and coordinated clearance regime will be applied to all imported and exported goods from any customs in the four provinces. Meanwhile, the four provinces' customs houses will share information through an online system.
