The 118th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, drew a conclusion on Wednesday in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province. Though this session of Canton Fair saw both buyers and transaction volume post decline due to the negative impact of weak international demand, it went on smoothly on the whole, said the sponsor. The 118th Canton Fair was attended by 177,000 buyers, down 4.6 percent from the 116th session. The transaction volume was 171.249 billion yuan (27.01 bln U.S. dollars), down 7.4 percent year on year.
