The Ministry of Commerce will roll out policies to promote Chinese firms "going out" at a faster pace, an official said at a forum held over the weekend, quoted by the Xinhua-run Economic Information Daily.

The MOC, along with other ministries concerned, will make policies to boost the "Belt and Road" construction and promote cooperation in infrastructure construction and manufacturing fields as well as development of high value-added projects, said Zhou Zhencheng, vice head of the department of outward investment and economic cooperation under the MOC. The government will also work out the 13th Five-Year Plan for outward cooperation and provide better services for Chinese firms at abroad.
