The Zhengzhou-Europe railway launched the 251th cargo train on late Saturday, exceeding the annual plan of launching 200 cargo trains in 2016.

Of which, 137 cargo trains have been sent from Zhengzhou to Europe, and 114 have been operated from Europe to Zhenzhou, with 128,600 metric tons of goods valued 1.267 billion U.S.dollars.

Since July 18,2013, altogether 507 Zhengzhou-Europe cargo trains were launched to carry totaling 237,100 metric tons of cargo valued 2.461 billion U.S.dollars.

In recent three years, the Zhengzhou-Europe cargo trains have witnessed rapid growth with high operation efficiency.

Since October, the Zhengzhou-Europe cargo trains have seen four trains traveling from Zhengzhou to Europe each week and vice versa, and plans to launch 300 cargo trains in 2017.

Meanwhile, the railway will shorten the one-way transport time to 11-12 days, in a bid to consolidate the position of Zhengzhou as a modern comprehensive traffic hub.
