China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said Monday it will impose anti-dumping duties on ethanolamines imported from the United States, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

In a final ruling on anti-dumping investigations into the imports, the MOC said domestic industries have been subject to substantial damages due to the dumping of these products.

Duties will be collected at rates ranging from 10.1 percent to 97.1 percent starting from Tuesday for a five-year period, according to a MOC statement.

The MOC launched anti-dumping investigations into the products in October 2017 after receiving complaints from domestic producers.

Ethanolamines are widely used in the production of surfactants, pesticide and pharmaceutical intermediates, chemical necessities, and personal hygiene products.
