C China's Wuhan sees 118 trips of China-Europe freight trains in Q1

BEIJING, April 23 (Xinhua) -- China-Europe freight trains traveling from Wuhan city in central China's Hubei Province have made 118 trips in the first quarter of this year, delivering goods valued at 3.185 billion yuan between China and countries along the Belt and Road routes, up 39.8 percent year on year.

Wuhan so far has opened five logistics channels, which pass through Alashankou, Manzhouli, Horgos, etc., and radiated about 76 cities in 34 Asian and European countries.

Hubei Province saw its foreign trade with countries along the Belt and Road routes grow rapidly in the first quarter. China (Hubei) Pilot Free Trade Zone's foreign trade amounted to 18.77 billion yuan in the period, up 22.9 percent year on year.
