HEFEI, June 14 (Xinhua) -- East China's Anhui Province recorded robust foreign trade growth in the first five months of 2022, according to local customs.
The province's total import and export value hit 298.09 billion yuan (44.37 billion U.S. dollars) from January to May, up 12.3 percent year on year.
Exports rose 16.3 percent year on year to 174.25 billion yuan, while imports increased 7 percent to 123.84 billion yuan.
Imports and exports between the province and countries and regions along the Belt and Road soared to 80.57 billion yuan, up 20.8 percent compared with the same period in 2021.
Trade volume between the province and members of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership hit 81.23 billion yuan, up 15.5 percent year on year.
