China's central budget arranges 1.288 billion yuan of capital this year to support the development of husbandry industry, in a bid to improve the country's production capacities of beef and mutton and guarantee the supply for large and medium-sized cities, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) said on Tuesday on its website.
The amount of central budget in this area is 188 million yuan more than that of 2014. Of the 1.288 billion yuan, 1.088 billion yuan will be utilized to support the standardized cultivation of livestock and poultry, and the remaining 200 million yuan will be utilized to support the standardized and scale development of the fishery industry.
