Shenzhen will subsidize the citizen who buys a new energy vehicle (NEV), according to a recent regulation released by the local development and reform commission and the financial commission.
The top-level subsidy is set at 500,000 yuan for each car, which will be given to the buyers of pure electric buses no shorter than ten meters and fuel-cell commercial cars only. Subsidies at other levels apply to the buyers of other NEVs involved in catalogue of automobile products promulgated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, including plug-in hybrid power passenger cars, pure electric passenger cars, pure electric special cars and fuel-cell passenger cars.
