China's State Administration of Grain (SAG), which is in charge of the country's state grain reserves, said on Friday that the purchase of summer grain crops went smoothly. The SAG had bought 66.3 billion kg of wheat and 7.95 billion kg of early indica rice as of September 30. The volume fell slightly over the same period of last year as the continuous rain in part of the country affected grain production, the SAG said.
