FAW Volkswagen, a joint venture between China's leading carmaker FAW Group and Germany's Volkswagen Group, signed an agreement with Jier Machine-Tool Group Co., Ltd. on Friday.
Under the agreement, FAW Volkswagen will procure a high-speed flexible automatic stamping line for its production base in east China from Jier Machine-Tool Group. The stamping line is large complete stamping equipment with the largest tonnage in China. Jier Machine-Tool Group has supplied eight intelligent high-speed stamping lines to Ford's factories in the United States.
