China's leading bus maker Yutong Bus (600066.SH) announced it is expected to become a major new energy bus supplier of a French passenger transport company RATP in the next ten years.
The company said its pure electric bus developed for the European market was chosen by RATP for trial operation. If everything goes right, the bus will become the first new energy bus made-in-China that enters the global market in a massive way.
At present, Yutong bus has built a service and auto part supply network in Europe, which supports the company to achieve a good performance on the traditional bus market and will help it to put new energy buses into the emerging European new energy vehicle market.
