Business volume of China's postal and express services totaled 344.29 billion yuan in the first nine months of this year, up 34.7 percent year on year, the State Post Bureau of China released.
The business income of China's postal companies and express service providers (excluding direct business income of postal savings banks) reached 285.27 billion yuan in January-September, up 24.4 percent.
Business income of the postal and express industry rose 20.6 percent year on year to 33.81 billion yuan in September and the business volume surged 41.7 percent to 45.7 billion yuan.
In the first nine months, China's mail business volume dropped 19.5 percent year on year to 3.55 billion; and the business volume and income of China's express services providers grew 46 percent and 33.2 percent, respectively, year on year to 13.7 billion yuan and 187.85 billion yuan.
In addition, the business volume and income of the express services in September increased 55.6 percent and 33.6 percent year on year, respectively, to 1.91 billion and 23.98 billion yuan.
