U.S. electric car maker Tesla Motor announced it will provide preferential treatment to its customers in China who will replace their used fossil-fuel cars with Tesla Model S sedans, according to the company's branch in China.
From Nov. 15 to Dec. 31, Tesla will enable the customers who order its Model S sedans to auction their used fossil-fuel cars at appointed third-party platforms, and Tesla will give discounts between 50,000 and 80,000 yuan to each customer according to the configuration of ordered sedans.
The preferential treatment is available in the cities where Tesla has established offline experience stores, including Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
