According FAW-Volkswagen, the New Sagitar sedan has ranked the first on China's A-plus car market for a successive ten months. In October, the sales of New Sagitar sedans reached 27,922 units, growing 16.4 percent year on year or 2.4 percent month on month.
The figure accounted for 22.6 percent of the total sales on China's A-plus car market in the month. By now, the sales volume of sedans under the Sagitar brand has totaled 1.5 million units, hitting a record high on China's A-plus car market. FAW-Volkswagen is a Jilin-based joint venture between Chinese automaker FAW Group and Germany's Volkswagen Group. Its Sagitar is one of the most popular compact cars in China.
