The sales of new energy passenger cars in China soared 240 percent year on year to 24,664 units in November, the Beijing Daily reported on Monday, citing statistics from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). Car makers sold a total of 139,000 new energy passenger cars in China from January to November, including 85,000 pure electric cars.
