The number of Chinese tourists to South Korea tumbled in recent months, government data showed Wednesday.
Foreign travelers visiting South Korea totaled 3.72 million in the January-March quarter, up 3.2 percent from the same period of last year, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Despite the overall increase, the number of Chinese tourists declined 9 percent in the quarter.
In March alone, the figure plunged 39.4 percent compared with the same month of last year.
