Volvo (China) Investment Co., Ltd. is to recall 595 cars due to defects in seatbelts, according to China's quality watchdog.
The recall will involve imported XC90 cars manufactured between Sept.23 2016 and Nov. 8, 2016, the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said on its website.
The right seatbelt of the third row of affected cars is defective, according to the statement. Volvo (China) Investment Co., Ltd., will replace the faulty components free of charge. The recall will start from July 3.
