Last month, the output and sales of commercial vehicles in China came in at 527,000 and 520,000 units, respectively, up 47.7 percent and 48 percent year on year.
In particular, truck output grew 53.2 percent from a year ago to 490,000 units in May, while sales rose 52.5 percent to 482,000 units.
In the first five months, the output and sales of commercial vehicles in China reached 1.83 million and 1.85 million units, respectively, down 1.4 percent and 1 percent over the same period last year.
