China will rationally control coal production scale while push forward industry upgrades and innovations to advance the healthy development of coal deep processing industry, according to Li Ye, chief economist with National Energy Administration (NEA).
China will control production capacity based on technology status while push industry upgrades that eye on improving energy efficiency and lowering resource consumption and pollution emission, Li said Thursday during China (Erdos) International Coal Chemical development Forum.
Also, China will strengthen ecological environmental protection and consider water resources and environment capacity when constructing new projects. Meanwhile, China will strengthen innovation and push forward self-developed technology and equipment.
The country will also work to help coal industry get out of current downturn while advance the coordinative development of coal, oil and gas as well as petrochemical industry, according to Li.
