China's coal output in September declined 2.2 percent on year to 312.68 million tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Monday. This brought the cumulative coal output in the first three quarters to 2.72514 billion tonnes, down 4.3 percent from a year ago. Besides, coke output decreased 8.8 percent on year to 36.73 million tonnes in September and amounted to 338.48 million tonnes in the first nine months, down 4.7 percent on year.
