China processed 42.43 million tonnes of crude oil in September, increasing 0.5 percent year on year, according to data issued by the National Bureau of Statistics on Monday.
National output of natural gas and crude oil stood at 9.6 billion cubic meters and 17.74 million tonnes in September, up 1.1 percent and 2.7 percent year on year, respectively.
China's monthly output of sulfuric acid, ethylene and chemical fiber expanded 3.3 percent, 5 percent and 18.1 percent to 7.72 million tonnes, 1.55 million tonnes and 4.31 million tonnes, respectively. Meanwhile, the output of caustic soda shrank 6.2 percent year on year to 2.42 million tonnes.
