Chinese apparent consumption of product oil totaled 207.28 million tonnes in the first nine months of 2015, increasing 2.7 percent year on year, according to a release issued by the National Development and Reform Commission on Wednesday.
National output of crude oil and product oil stood at 159.73 million tonnes and 223.68 million tonnes in the period, up 2.5 percent and 4.7 percent year on year, respectively. In particular, gasoline output grew 9.2 percent while diesel output shrank 2.4 percent year on year. National crude oil throughput expanded 3.2 percent year on year to 354.82 million tonnes.
By the end of September, product oil stocks were 1.52 million tonnes less than that in a month ago, but 1.49 million tonnes higher from the same time of 2014.
