China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) has inked an asset and industry cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with French AREVA and a Sino-French joint statement implementation plan with EDF, according to an announcement by CNNC.
CNNC would explore possibilities of share participation in restructured AREVA as well as the two parties' nuclear fuel cycle full-chain cooperation, according to the MOU, reported cnstock.com on Tuesday. Meanwhile, CNNC and EDF would deepen medium-large scale reactor cooperation for exports, co-build a global supply chain platform as well as deepen cooperation on nuclear power station safety, operation, maintenance, engineering and research and development.
