China posted 14.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas consumption in October increasing 4 percent year on year, said a release by the National Development and Reform Commission on Monday.
In October, China produced 10.9 billion cubic meters of natural gas up 2.8 percent year on year while natural gas imports decreased 4.8 percent year on year to 4.4 billion cubic meters.
In Jan.-Oct, Chinese natural gas output and consumption totaled 107.5 billion cubic meters and 146.9 billion cubic meters, rising 3.6 percent and 2.7 percent year on year, respectively.
China imported 48.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the first ten months of 2015, up 2.6 percent year on year.
