New energy power output amounted to 231.7 billion kilowatt-hours in January-November in the serving areas of the State Grid Corp, accounting for 5.6 percent of the total power output in those areas.
According to the State Grid Corp, installed new energy power capacity with grid access had hit 146.26 million kilowatts in its serving areas by the end of November, representing 12.4 percent of the total installed power generation capacity in the areas.
Specifically, installed wind power capacity increased 25 percent on year to 102.63 million kilowatts by the end of November, and installed solar power capacity went up 67 percent on year to 34.39 million kilowatts, which included 4.52 million kilowatts of distributed PV power capacity, up 104 percent on year. In January-November, wind power output in Xinjiang rose 19 percent on year to 151.8 billion kilowatt-hours, and solar power output hiked 69 percent on year to 34.9 billion kilowatt-hours.
