China's first local refinery exported product oil on December 23, reported the National Business Daily on Tuesday.
Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co., a subsidiary of state-owned Sinochem Group, saw its product oil exported to Singapore, which has broken the current product oil export monopoly of state firms.
Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co., which was put into operation in April 2014, has been granted 450,000 tonnes of product oil export quota, becoming the first refinery to get the export qualification following China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Sinopec Corp. and China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC).
Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co. plans to export 1 million tones of gasoline, 300,000 tonnes of kerosene and 300,000 tonnes of aviation kerosene in 2016.
