A guideline to promote Internet plus Smart Energy Action is expected to be released soon, the Securities Daily reported on Wednesday.

The National Energy Administration recently held a conference to solicit opinions on the guideline which would need a further revision. The frame of the action covers electric vehicles, Smart Grid, distributed energy and renewable energy, and focuses on intelligent innovations on energy ration and consumption.

Internet plus Smart Energy Action will be divided into two phases: piloting demonstrative work of Energy plus Internet in 2016-2018 including formulation of technology standard and cultivation of new market players in this field; forming an industrial system for Energy plus Internet and increasing renewable energy proportion in 2019-2025.

Among A-share listed companies, Zhonheng Electric Co., Ltd (002364.SZ), Guangxi Guiguan Electric Power (600236.SH) and Guangzhou Zhiguang Electric (002169.SZ) have energy plus Internet businesses and are likely to benefit from the plan.
