A guide for energy international action has been submitted to the State Council, the Chinese cabinet, for approval, and is likely to come out in January, according to a report by Shanghai Securities News on Monday.
The guide puts up that China should strengthen construction of energy internet infrastructure, and construct energy smart production and consumption facilities, multi-energy coordinated comprehensive energy internet and energy internet information infrastructure.
By means of "Internet Plus", China would establish an open energy internet system, a modern energy market trading system and a commercial operation platform to develop energy storage and electric motor vehicle application, smart applications and value-added services as well as flexible green energy interaction.
The energy internet action would be extended to larger scale after a string of pilot programs in short- and medium-term.
According to the guide, China would launch energy internet pilot programs in 2016-2018, targeting to develop a batch of key technologies and core equipment, primarily establish energy internet technical standard, and cultivate series of energy finance and third-party comprehensive energy services and a new energy internet market.
In 2019-2025, China is expected to form energy internet industry system and establish an open energy internet system with enhanced use of renewable energy.
