China will enhance construction of natural gas storage facilities to ensure stable supply of natural gas in the country, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said on Tuesday.
The top economic planner is mulling over a guideline on gas storage facility construction. Upstream gas suppliers and local governments are encouraged to build gas storage facilities according to their supply and demand. The release of the guideline is expected to benefit companies that build gas storage facilities and equipment including Shaanxi Provincial Natural Gas Co. Ltd (002267.SZ), Chuangchun Gas (600333.SH) and Shenzhen Gas (601139.SH).
