Cumulative natural gas output in Tarim Oilfield so far has topped 200 billion cubic meters, benefiting 400 million residents and 3,000 enterprises in more than 120 medium and large cities in 15 provinces and cities in China.
According to statistics from CNPC Tarim Oilfield Company, gas supply by Tarim Oilfield increased from 351 million cubic meters in 2014 to 23.551 billion cubic meters in 2015, making it a key gas production base in China.
In the past five years, Tarim Oilfield contributed one sixth of national total gas output annually. So far, there have been 17 gas fields discovered in Tarim Oilfield with proved gas reserve of 1.85 trillion cubic meters, enabling stable annual output of 30 billion cubic meters for more than 60 years.
