
Nur Bekri, head of China's National Energy Administration (NEA), discussed with Russian energy minister Alexander Novak on gas and oil cooperation, according to a circular posted on the NEA's website on Thursday.
The two sides made an in-depth exchange on Yamal LNG project and the cooperation between the two countries on oil and gas field. Yamal LNG, which is set to be launched in 2017, is a liquefied natural gas plant with a planned capacity of 16.5 million tonnes per year and is valued at $27 billion.
