China Bond Rating Co., issued its new rating methods on insurance companies and insurers' capital supplement bonds recently.
According to the company, the new rating methods apply to property insurance, life insurance and insurers' bonds.
In January, the People's Bank of China and China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) issued a circular permitting insurance firms to float bonds to boost their capital.
