China would beat earlier anticipation to issue earthquake catastrophe insurance rules by the end of 2015, Dai Shuren, an official with the department of international affairs of China Insurance Regulatory Commission, said at a forum held recently in Beijing.
Suggestions have been solicited on drafting the rules for multiple times and the draft is undergoing optimization, said Dai.
China plans to introduce earthquake insurance system in an all around way by 2020, according to Dai.
