Investment schemes registered by China's insurance asset management companies in November dropped on a monthly basis, either in terms of quantity or value, according to data released by the Insurance Asset Management Association of China.
In November, insurance asset managers registered a total of three, or 2.54 billion yuan, investment schemes, all of which were real estate related. In the period from January to November, insurance asset management companies registered 179.043 billion yuan worth of investment portfolios.
In China, insurance asset management companies usually are units established by insurers themselves to manage and operate their capital.
