A Chinese lab jointly established by Cloud Walk and Shanghai Jiao Tong University announced it has developed an artificial intelligent lie detector based on facial recognition technology.
The new lie detector will use a camera to capture key points on people's faces and use non-contact sensors to analyze outward manifestation of people. The data it collects will show people's psychological tendency.
Cloud Walk is a subsidiary of the Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The institute has launched cooperation with several financial institutions to achieve the application of facial recognition technology in financial services.
