China Development Bank (CDB), the country's major policy bank, opened a representative office in Minsk, capital city of Belarus, on Tuesday.
CDB is willing to continuously strengthen exchanges with the Belarusian government, financial institutions and enterprises and help achieve mutually beneficial cooperation, said Liu Jin, vice president of CDB at the opening ceremony of the representative office.
The establishment of the representative office will help enhance CDB's support for China-Belarus economic and financial cooperation and improve its efficiency of serving customers of the two countries, and better promote construction of the Belt and Road, Liu added.
It is reported that CDB has actively served customers of both countries since its business launch in Belarus in 2007, with its focus on construction of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone.
