BEIJING, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- The overnight Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate (Shibor), which measures the borrowing cost of China's interbank market, increased 41.2 basis points to 1.739 percent Monday.

The seven-day rate dropped 1.1 basis points to 1.952 percent, the one-month rate went up 0.5 basis points to 1.68 percent, and the one-year rate edged up 0.1 basis points to 2.037 percent.
