BEIJING, April 19 (Xinhua) -- The overnight Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate (Shibor), which measures the borrowing cost of China's interbank market, increased 2.1 basis points to 1.797 percent Friday.

The seven-day rate rose 3.4 basis points to 1.87 percent, the one-month rate went down 0.7 basis points to 1.989 percent, and the one-year rate dropped 1.4 basis points to 2.129 percent.
