Russia's government-run Rossiya Segodnya news conglomerate will publish the Russian version of China's anti-coronavirus guide on Wednesday, its CEO Dmitry Kiselyov said on Tuesday.

"One should be able to recognize the facts: China has defeated the coronavirus and was the first in the world to stop its spread," RIA Novosti, a unit of Rossiya Segodnya, quoted Kiselyov as saying.

The guide, titled "The Handbook on COVID-19 Prevention and Treatment," has already been translated, typeset and put into print, he said, adding that its 10,000 copies will be distributed for free.

Researchers and the rector of Moscow's Sechenov Medical University acted as scientific consultants for the translation of the 90-page book, authored by the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University in eastern China.

The guide is being published with the support of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

"The experience of China's leading clinic that found itself at the forefront of the fight against the new virus and worked out its own approaches is truly priceless," RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev said.

The manual is divided into three parts: prevention and control, diagnosis and treatment experience, and nursing experience.

Written under the guidelines of China's National Health Commission, the book sums up two months of practical prevention and treatment experience in the hospital.
