China's lithium battery firms are expected to see fast growth in net profits in the second half of 2015 thanks to flourishing demand for new-energy batteries amid the government's policy support for development of new-energy vehicles nationwide.
Of 30-plus lithium battery manufacturing companies listed on Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses, over 70 percent reported a rise in net profit in the first half of 2015 in their half-year financial reports, and 30 percent posted a rise of over 50 percent in net profits, Shanghai Securities News reported on Thursday.
Experts forecast that market demand for new-energy batteries are expected to further expand in the second half of 2015 thanks to the government's support to development of new-energy vehicles, thus, the lithium battery producers' profits are expected to be further fattened on the flourishing demand.
