Beijing General Aviation Co., Ltd. (BGAC), a joint-venture co-established by BAIC Group and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, kicked off construction of its P750 airplane manufacturing project in Changzhou on Wednesday.
The project is located in Changzhou national new and high-tech zone, covering 46,320 square meters of land. After put into operation, it is expected to produce 70 units of P750 airplanes annually and become BGAC's production and maintenance service base in East China.
P750 is a single-engine turboprop multi-purpose 10-seat fixed wing aircraft. It has obtained qualification from more than 20 countries and areas and can be used in the areas of passenger and freight transport, tour and sightseeing, parachuting, aerial photography, aerial survey and remote sensing.
