China's electronics and IT manufacturing industry saw its total export and import value hit 934.3 billion US dollars in the first nine months of 2015, down 1.3 percent year on year.
The growth rate went down two percentage points from the same period of last year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
In a breakdown, the export value of electronics and IT manufacturing products was 555.6 billion dollars, declining 0.6 percent year on year and accounting for 33.4 percent of China's total export value.
The import value reached 378.7 billion dollars, declining 2.4 percent year on year and accounting for 30.5 percent of China's total import value.
In September, the export value grew 2.4 percent year on year to 69.9 billion dollars, and the import value went down 9.6 percent year on year to 46.1 billion dollars.
The top five electronics and IT products by export value were mobile phones, laptop PCs, integrated circuits, parts of wireless phone handsets and LCD panels in Jan.-Sept. 2015.
